I happened to get a break this Sunday after a long 45days of hectic long shifts. Had planned to go to temple and then for a cinema but have to alter my plans because of this stupid weather and also cause of my laziness, decided to stay in bed for the entire day.

So soon it’s Monday and I’m at work thinking about my Sunday which went so quick. Something interesting happened today at work. I was told from following Monday I will be in training for a different role in the organisation. In other words I have been short listed for the specialization team… Wow. I’m really looking forward for my new role.

I thank god for guiding me in each and every step...

Lay-off stress..

I’m in so much stress! As we keep hearing on the news about lay-off’s happening almost everyday with the most of the major companies all over the world. I’m just crossing my fingers and hoping things should be back to normal real soon and as I was waiting for my turn and the latest one to the list of lay-off or job cuts is UK giant, BT. I heard this bad news on BBC the other day saying British Telecommunication (BT) is planning to lay-off 10,000 employees all around the world and yes i work for BT so, you can imagine what I’m going through at the moment.

Interestingly, I had a quarterly performance meeting with my manager and the good news is that I have exceeded all the expectations and been asked for a bigger role in the organisation…. Wow... something came up just in time when I wanted to be cheered.

Does anyone know as where this crisis is leading too? What is in store for all of us who depends so much on the economy? Well honestly, I feel certain question looks good as a question unless one tries to attempt to answer only to invite many other…

Weekend at work!!!

How boring can it be to work on weekend? When I have loads of university work to take care. It’s going to be long day for me at work because of 10hrs shift and that means I will be stuck at work all day and same shift hours will be continued tomorrow as well. My colleagues at work say “Rags don’t think about the time you spend at work but think about the money you get.” And there are few others who say “Rags, my mate common get a life.” At times I feel so confused and lost trying to figure out as which of my mate’s statements are true. Considering the responsibility I have towards my family and my commitments I'm pretty much convinced with the first statement.

I feel like there is so much to say and so much to share but guess will save it for my future posts.

Anyways, Last night I have uploaded new video to my VLog and it’s basically about Welsh Traditional dance which was organised by university as a part of welcome party for the fresher, since I missed mine so happen to join along with fresher's cause was curious to see as how its been organised. I tapped my feet for the welsh tune... lol. Click here for video.
