Arvind AdigaToday BBC had some interesting news to share other then regular credit crunch news. It’s about 33 year old Indian – born Aravind Adiga who is a writer and youngest author on the shortlist for £50,000 prize for this year’s Man Booker Prize.
His Book “The White Tiger” a tale of two Indians, tells the story of Balram, the son of a rickshaw puller in the heartlands, one of the “faceless” poor left behind by the country’s recent economic boom.
Arvind Adiga who is dedicating his award to the people of delhi (India) says the book was set in today's India and "revolves around the great divide between those Indians who have made it and those who have not".
